ThoraCal LC is a light curing resin modified calcium silicate protectant/pad used to protect the dental pulp ThoraCal
LC can be precisely placed, so it is suitable for use in all deep cavity type preparations. Its photocuring formula makes the operation predictable and the doctor can immediately place and cure the material for subsequent repair. Because of its special formulation, it can be photocurable at the same time, and has good thixotropy, which makes it easy to place. The patented hydrophilic resin formulation creates a stable and long-lasting protectant/pad.
Product use
1.ThoraCal LC can be used to directly cap pulp. It can be placed directly on the exposed pulp after the bleeding has stopped at the exposed pulp. It can be applied to any exposed pulp, including:
- Caries exposed pulp
- Mechanical exposure
- Exposed pulp
2. ThoraCal LC can be used to directly cap pulp, as a substrate or to protect the basal layer
- Under a silver amalgam repair
- Used under Class I and II composite material repair
- Under other basic materials
- Under the cement
- As a substitute for calcium hydroxide
- As an alternative to glass polymer /RMGI
- As a substitute for caries protective primer
- As a substitute for calcium phosphate
- As an alternative to IRM/ZOE(Intermediate repair material)
